Our aim

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across this website.

What we have built in

• Semantic headings and landmarks, so screen readers can navigate by structure.
• A skip link to jump straight to the main content.
• Visible focus outlines on every interactive element, never removed.
• Text and interface colors checked for contrast against their backgrounds.
• Forms with real labels, hints tied to their fields, and errors announced and listed at the top.
• Touch targets sized for fingers, and layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling.
• Animation that respects the reduced motion setting on your device.
• Keyboard support for the menu and dialogs, including Escape to close.

Known limitations

Photography is not in place yet, so some sections show placeholders. Third-party donation pages will follow their provider’s accessibility standards once online giving is connected.
